TONKOTSU BRISTOL
BALDWIN ST, BRISTOL
Artist Molly Hawkins collaborated with the renowned independent eatery Tonkotsu, celebrating the culinary art of authentic Japanese cuisine. This partnership highlighted the craftsmanship of noodle making and the vibrant culture surrounding ramen.
Adopting the philosophy that "if you don’t make your own noodles, you’re just a soup shop," Tonkotsu transformed their approach after a pivotal experience in Tokyo. Inspired to make everything from scratch, they now craft their noodles, broths, and more across branches in London, Birmingham, Brighton, and now Bristol!
Molly’s artwork captures the lively spirit of Tonkotsu’s kitchen, focusing on the noodle-making machines and the dynamic production process. Her designs, featured throughout the restaurant, employ her signature abstract style to convey movement and energy. Additionally, Molly designed a T-shirts for the brand, extending her artistic touch to wearable art that embodies the essence of Tonkotsu.
Her bold, playful designs enhance the dining experience, infusing it with joy and a unique artistic flair, perfectly blending culinary and visual arts.
