workshops

Are you seeking ways to boost morale, nourish well-being and encourage teamwork among your employees? Maybe you work for a brand or company with a loyal community, and you're looking to hold an event to bring them together in harmony? Or you’re part of an establishment, maybe a gallery, shop or community centre, and you’re keen to attract new audiences? Do you work for a school and you’re hoping to help your students explore their creativity, develop valuable skills, and build stronger connections with their peers?

If any of these options seem relevant, then collaborating with Molly Hawkins Studio on a creative workshop may be the perfect solution.

DREAMING BIG: TRANSFORMING SPACES THROUGH PUBLIC ART

This workshop explores the world of Molly’s mural art practice, where theatre design meets public art. Participants will gain insight into the work of contemporary mural artists, visualise how spaces can be transformed through public art, and learn how to transition ideas from small models to large sculptures and murals.

This inspiring experience allows individuals to experiment with various materials, such as wood, cardboard and found objects, to create painted 3D worlds and installations. Paint techniques and collage design methods will be taught, along with interactive demonstrations on patterns, colour and texture use. The workshop ultimately explores how art can transform the ordinary, alter people's perception of the world, and encourage creative curiosity.

Seasonal creative workshops are an innovative way to celebrate special occasions such as holidays, national days, and cultural events. They offer a unique opportunity to bring community together, and can also serve as a platform for team building and embracing diversity through various forms of creative expression. Molly is always eager to collaborate on generating ideas for these workshops, with the goal of creating engaging and inclusive events that will be enjoyed by all participants.
