Queer Space

‘At the beginning of 2022 we brought together a group of local multidisciplinary queer artists to spend a week together exploring the theme of Queer Love Stories. Those wonderful artists were @mal.keg @aishaaliartist @mollymural @emilejclarke @meganvaughanthomas & @ellieshowering.
 
Next year Queer Space will be launching a series of community arts projects inspired by the week we spent together.
 
QSB’s illustrator Molly Hawkins has created some beautiful pieces of art in response to the conversations, phrases, and poems that were brought over the week. In particular, the phrase ‘sexuality as wide as the sea’ is taken from the quote by Derek Jarman.’
