Theatre Design Portfolio
Molly Hawkins studied BA (Hons) Theatre & Performance Design at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts from 2010 to 2013.
Below, you'll find a selection of Molly's theatre design work spanning from 2012 to 2020. Her portfolio includes stage designs for prestigious venues such as Theatr Clwyd, The Egg - Theatre Royal Bath, Bristol Old Vic, Pound Arts, Tobacco Factory Theatre, and Dance Base.
Her traditional theatre projects feature acclaimed productions like A Streetcar Named Desire, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, The Two Character Play, Frankenstein, and Jekyll and Hyde.
Molly has also contributed to new writing, creating designs for productions like Our House is on Fire, Mechanimal, Escape to Planet Kronos, Onwards & Upwards, Q-fforia, and Jonny Fluffypunk.
During the pandemic, Molly was awarded the DYCP grant by the Arts Council, which enabled her to expand her career into public arts. Despite this shift, Molly retains a deep passion for theatre and remains eager for opportunities to work within theatre design for live performances.
