FULL COLOUR MAINDEE

At the heart of Newport's Full Colour Festival, Molly Hawkins made a significant impact by installing Wales's largest floor mural across the basketball court and its surrounding areas. Completed over four days with the help of local volunteers, Molly's contribution was a centrepiece of the event, which spanned from the Maindee Triangle to Maindee Car Park along Chepstow Road.

The festival itself was a vibrant celebration featuring the work of over 50 artists who transformed more than 30 sites along a 450-metre stretch from 74 Chepstow Road to the Brandon Tool Hire. Attendees enjoyed a buzz of activity with large-scale murals and street art, live events, and performances throughout the Maindee district. The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by food, drink, music, painting stations, and more, making it a true community-driven showcase of creative expression.
