Bespoke 3D wall sculptures

In 2024, I embarked on an exhilarating new creative venture, creating bespoke wall sculptures that resonate with their environments. Drawing from my paper-cut collage process, these designs are crafted with wooden shapes, layered and arranged to mimic the intricate textures of collage art. Collaborating with local carpenter and artist Nina Hunter, we've blended creativity and craftsmanship to produce pieces that are not only joyful and curious but also add a dynamic depth and perspective to any space.

I've found immense joy in working with wood and have started experimenting with creating digital prints on birch-ply, which produce a beautiful art grain accentuated by vivid colours. Below is a piece I co-designed with Fine Artist Theo Passingham for the canteen area of the EQ Building in Bristol, a space where people come together to spark ideas and share joy. This piece was inspired by the building's exterior mural and reflects the aesthetic of the surrounding architecture.

I've enjoyed creating a series of 3D sculptural wooden artworks, using acrylic-painted wooden cutouts. These pieces were co-created with carpenter Nina Hunter, and the process of exploring form, colour, and flow was truly delightful.

Alongside my newfound passion for sculptural wall art installations, I continue to delight in designing fine art prints that enliven spaces. Below is a collection of my prints displayed in the bar area of the EQ Building in Bristol.

The process of creating these artworks is incredibly satisfying, and it often leaves the studio looking fabulous. Below are some photos from the installation, building, and design stages of these magical creations.

We decided to make the cubes available for public purchase and have enjoyed seeing them situated in people's homes! They really embody the Memphis Movement and pop art vibes.
